Once you select a client from the list in CounselGO, you automatically land on the Invoices page. You can also access this page from anywhere in the selected client by clicking Invoices from the left-side navigation menu.
The Invoices page lists all submitted invoices by default with additional filtering options by status (e.g., open, paid, etc.) and type (e.g., submitted or drafts).
This is the default invoice view that shows all submitted invoices (i.e., invoices already submitted to the client via CounselGO). You can further filter these invoices by Open, Rejected, or Approved/Paid by using the filters at the top of the dashboard or by using the tabs or search box in the table.
The table lists invoices by date in descending order (most recent listed first). You can re-sort the invoices in ascending or descending order by clicking on the Number, Total, or Status columns.
Click on Draft Invoices at the top of the dashboard to access all manual/non-LEDES invoices that were saved as drafts and are not yet submitted to the client. This view also includes any LEDES invoices that were uploaded but not submitted or that failed file processing.
The draft invoices are separated into two tabs: LEDES and Non LEDES.
From the Non LEDES tab, you can click on an individual invoice to finish editing and submitting, or you can choose multiple or all invoices to either delete or resubmit the draft(s). Draft invoices are set to a status of Open until they are submitted to the client via CounselGO.
To start submit a new LEDES invoice or create a new manual/non-LEDES invoice, click the New Invoice button from the top navigation bar in CounselGO from any page.
