Your firm can use a client's custom expense, activity, or task codes when adding individual line items. This article applies to non-LEDES invoices only. For additional instructions or information on creating and submitting non-LEDES invoices in CounselGO, click here.
IMPORTANT: Only use custom codes provided by the client; do not make up your own codes.
1. When adding a new line item, type the code provided by the client in one of the following drop-down fields: Expense Code, Activity Code, or Task Code.
2. Select the code if a match appears, or click the Create option at the bottom of the list if it needs to be added (reminder: add only custom codes provided by the client).
