Each client has a set of Timekeeper Classifications. These are the abbreviations used to identify the timekeeper levels or roles - paralegal, associate, partner, etc. You can manage additional custom classifications.
NOTE: CounselGO has a number of default classifications, which cannot be edited or removed. You can only view the records for these entries.
- Consult with your client to determine the list of abbreviations you will share.
- Log in to CounselGO and select a client to work with.
- On the left navigation bar, click the gear icon.
- From the Timekeeper Classifications page you can add, edit, or delete custom classifications.
Add a Classification
- Click the New Classification button (top right).
- Provide a Name for the role.
- Enter an Abbreviation.
- Click Submit.
Edit a Classification
- Click the row you want to edit.
- Change the Name for the role or enter a different Abbreviation.
- Click Submit.
Delete a Classification
- Hover over the far right end of the row you want to delete.
- Click the trash can icon.
- CounselGO asks you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes.
