Your Firm's First Use of CounselGO
As a vendor firm, to request access to CounselGO, please contact your client directly. They can create a CounselGO account for you. Each client can also assign two (2) CounselGO admins for your firm.
After a CounselGO account is created, the users that your client establishes receive registration emails to set up their passwords.
Once your firm has a CounselGO admin, that person can add users , i.e., create other CounselGO users for your firm. The CounselGO admins can also:
- deactivate users,
- set up contacts to receive the client's monthly request to submit the firm's unbilled activity (accruals), and
- re-send registration emails.
Add a Client to Your Environment
Once your firm has a CounselGO environment, when you need to bill additional clients, the process is similar to the one described above.
Ask the client to add you as a vendor and create at least one CounselGO admin account in their SimpleLegal environment. The CounselGO admin that they build receives notification of the new client.
For that admin, the new client simply appears on their client list within CounselGO.
Once an admin can see a client, the admin can add users to work with this client. Each user's My Clients list grows as they are added to the client's account.
Similarly, the client can add contacts and user roles to their vendor record for your firm, which invite your team members to interact with their department.
