Clients may often require you to include a PDF copy of the invoice you are submitting. If you normally create your invoices using a LEDES file, you can upload a PDF version into CounselGO before submitting the invoice.
You can upload the PDF version: 1) at the same time you upload the LEDES file, or 2) from the review page before submitting the invoice.
We recommend verifying that the PDF and LEDES invoice amounts match to reflect any discounts before continuing with submitting the invoice to the client.
Upload Files Page
Click New Invoice in the top-right corner and select Upload LEDES Files.
From the upload page, you can drag and drop one or more LEDES invoices onto the page, or find/select them from your computer by clicking Choose Files.
You can upload a PDF copy at this time. To include a PDF copy of a LEDES file, the file name must include the matching invoice number from the LEDES file.
Review Page
Once you have uploaded one or more LEDES files, the Review page displays one row per uploaded invoice. You can upload a PDF copy by clicking the Add PDF copy attachment link.
Click Choose File, select the file from your computer, and click Save and Close (top-left corner).
When the green checkmark appears for uploaded files, click OK to close the window.
NOTE: Uploaded files will be scanned for viruses once submitted. If any files fail the virus scan, you will receive an email notification that the invoice is invalid. You must re-upload the files and re-submit the invoice.
