SimpleLegal clients have the option to select one or more options from a list of standardized rejection reasons and/or enter additional comments when marking an invoice as rejected.
If provided, the information is displayed in CounselGO for reference so that you can correct the invoice and submit it as a new one to the client for review and approval in a timely manner.
There are two ways to check for rejection reasons and/or comments in CounselGO:
#1. Go to the Rejected tab from the Invoices dashboard.
Click on the comment icon under the Reason column for an invoice to view the rejection reason(s) and/or additional comments provided by the reviewer (if applicable).
NOTE: If the reviewer did not provide these details, the Reason column displays - - - -.
#2. Click on an invoice from the Rejected tab to view its details page.
Check the Reason field on the right side of the invoice's details page for the rejection reason(s) and/or additional comments provided by the reviewer (if applicable).
It is up to the client to provide details on why an invoice was rejected. If the information does not appear in CounselGO, please contact the client directly for clarification.
This section may display additional information if the reviewer also adjusted the total of the rejected invoice and entered any other notes. You can also check for adjustments to individual line items. For more information on viewing rejected invoices with adjustments, click here.
